The not-for-profit Pasadena Hospital Association, which does business as Huntington Hospital, provides health care to local residents of the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. Founded in 1892, the hospital has some 640 beds and offers acute medical and surgical care and community services in a number of specialties, including cardiology, gastroenterology, women's and children's health, orthopedics, and psychiatry. It engages in clinical cancer research (as well as diagnosis and treatment) through the Huntington Cancer Center.
