We are contributing to the construction of road with advanced quality of asphalt product. The demands for asphalt has increased continuously in terms of volume because the Government has planned to expand load networks and its pavement according to the Land Integrated Development Program in 1972. The unit of pavement has also increased from drum to bulk as large scale and the quality of pavement has required as higher quality that shall be met to the environment of Korea local geographical feature and temperature. Now the degree of using oil has changed to AP-5 which is good for plastic deformation from AP-3. Furthermore, nowadays, the highly qualified functional products such as newly qualified asphalt using macromolecule and none-smell binder for production of color ascon are being used. To comply with the market trends, the Company which has started as sales agent for Korea Oil Corporation (now SK Energy) in 1975 has start to supply qualified asphalt to the factories or road construction sites in Korea. We have developed emulsified asphalt (RSC) in 1993 and non-color binder for production of color ascon in 2004 at Ulsan factory, and are providing good quality of product and service to construct high quality of roads. In 1978, the Company has constructed the lubrication oil factory which has capacity of 250 barrels per day to meet requirements of special lubrication oil from Ankook Sangsa and SK company, and the product is being exported to overseas.
